Anybody who is also a member of phpacademy forum and played on the minecraft server I set up for there.

It will be back ! The map was starting to get cool too

Also there will be more server power soon so there is no need for a 10 player limit This means, if you have a minecraft account and would like to join a SMP server with some random people from a forum, post your MC username here so I can whitelist you.

I won't actually be able to set anything up until some time later this month, just wanted to let you know that the map is backed up and when I have time to deal with all the server updates that happened recently it will be back online.

If enough people play I can offer diamond blocks as competition prizes

I don't think I could ever be bored with it. you can do everything ! And the minecraft world is so much simpler than the stupid real world.

Terraria looks cool though, I will probably buy that too when I get my desktop PC back

Terraria to me, is a lot more "exploring/adventuring" than Minecraft. In Minecraft you have the standard items that you can craft from ores and you have just a couple of monsters.

In Terraria, you have three world bosses and a bunch of other monsters some easier and some harder, you also have armor sets, more weapons, accessories that helps your character (double jump, higher jump, no fall damage, no damage knock-back and more) and you can either craft all the items or you can find them by exploring caves and dungeons.

So it's a bit more like an MMO but not a stupid one like WoW

Yeah most of my mine was impossible to get to in SSP. On the plus side there is now wild grass (which is wonky)

But I have to use a plugin since my little brother LOVES lava. They never separate each other

There is a protected area at the spawn point but that's it. World is backed up every 4 hours so I should be able to undo any damage

I mostly play online (we have a forum SMP server ), that is no cheating and as close to the vanilla server as I can make it without being too crap. There are 4 active players and about 12 people on the whitelist, we tend to just do separate things though, starting to build up quite a nice town actually

Is there anyway I could get on that whitelist ? I wouldn't ruin everything, promise ^^
Last time I went on a public server, I saw speed hacks, NOTHING was built apart from the protected spawn area (everything had probably been destroyed). I was like 'wtf'... There should be something like VAC to permanently ban cheaters that get caught. It would scare a lot of people from cheating.

That is the problem with large public servers.

On my server I have a plugin that logs what everybody does so I can easily ban people who cause problems and undo what ever they did. It's only happened twice so far

I don't think those speed / flying mods work with the new server anyway, sometimes if you fall in a world hole you get kicked for cheating.

Flying works. Check the logs, I was kicked for it a couple of times.
Let me explain I use it on my friends server (a build server) and I disconnected while I was in "flight-mode" and when you join another server you will then be in "flight-mode". I didn't know that after I had been kicked a couple of times
