User Profile - Profile Pictures

Hey I was wondering how would I go about with users being able to upload a 'profile picture' for their profile page.

I was thinking a simple file upload where then the path to the picture is stored in the database for users, and selected for the profile.

But I'm not too sure.

Thanks for that. Hadn't thought to check there.

Just one thing.

What do I change if I want to be able to re-size the height and scale the width instead of re-sizing the width like it's doing now.
