Opinion of first real website made from scratch?

It's being made for a small indie game "organization" a friend came up with. I've been messing around with web design, and offered my services.

Real, constructive criticism would be appreciated. Both good and bad.

I know the styling could seriously use work on some pages still, not exactly pro with CSS quite yet.

The first thing I noticed was that the hover colour for the links is way too red,

And the second thing was that the lightbox thing you used to show images is the same as on most websites, and like most websites, it does not fit with the design at all.
