Tonight I had to work till ten. After that I went in town to have some beers and laughs with a couple friends. Just got back (it's 1:40 am here right now).
Pretty standard Saturday night actually, though I planned on going home right after work...
I'm 13, and had a sip of wine at my bar mitzvah. I hated it.
So throughout the alcohol unit in health, I was always thinking "screw 'it could kill you'! I don't like wine! Me no drink-y!"
I never liked wine or beer for that matter. Sure, I drink it sometimes when watching some silly sport I don't even like with friends. But if I'm out on the bar, pub or whatever I always have "regular" whiskey or scotch.

That makes a lot of sense ! It's 18 for everything here.
It's strange how alcohol generally tastes so horrible when you are young, there is probably a fairly boring Biology reason why that is I remember trying beer at a family party when I was about 12 and wondering why anybody would drink it. Although I still prefer cider or wine or anything else really.

You say that, but that only really applies to the sensible youngsters lol. Dont know what part of the UK you live in, but its hard to avoid the little dirt rats who drink under age around here.
yes this is true, But i do see the odd one with a stella or fosters in their grubby lil mits.
But lets be honest, in our day and age (god i sound old when i say that lol) the adults drinking int much better than the kids... Kids get mouthy, adults have more of a tendency to get violent.
