Thats impressive saying you've been going like 2 weeks ;)

Is that all time or monthly?
That number is hits, which are (I think) individual requests to the server counting all of the images on the page as well as the page load.

Here are the stats for May 2011 so far (updated 10 minutes ago, hence more hits)

Visitors: 1,351
Unique Visitors: 571
Page Views: 35,824
Hits: 122,741
Bandwidth: 1.4G

Not bad considering the forum was set up on the 4th (I think) :D

For comparison

April (pre-forum)
Total Hits: 1,686

May (with forum)
Hits so far: 122,741

ah, so say this webpage had 20 images, that would count as 21 hits per visitor?

Well yeah, but you still think it would agree, because the people who vote chrome would use chrome most of the time ;)
But what if they were testing something in FF and then just decided to check on the forum for a quick 30 seconds... hm!! That never occurred to you, did it now?!

Well, yes. But because of the large numbers those situations should be lost in the averaging.

I did a couple of these (Our school is seriously out dated, but uses RM software meaning they actually cannot install any higher (except maybe 7) and they also cannot install chrome, Firefox or opera etc.

Also, thats less than 0.75%, really dont worry about that ;)

they've disconnected all USB drives from working except with password unlock, the CD drive cannot open unless admin is logged in and we cannot download any files.. Its like a prison.

Why give you a computer if you're not allowed to do anything with it? :S

Yes, we're given 80MB lol. ;) but not allowed to download anything (if we email ourselves work, we have to have teacher download and place it onto our system folder.
We cannot have any .swf files (they sweep the system every friday and have a program that deletes all .swf files automatically. They made a mistake one year and deleted the students work as part of the ICT course was to produce a flash game (as you can imagine, swf is kind of needed ;) )

oh and also, we cannot run any .exe files other than those that are specified within some environment settings or something, which means we cannot just get the teacher to place chrome or something onto our system for us to install or run a portable version of.

Sucks doesnt it?

/edit.

There was also a good one, where they had disabled the use of javascript within programs (.exe files) and Dreamweaver 8 (what our school uses) uses javascript for copy and paste, so they disabled copy and paste within dreamweaver. that took the piss.

Meh, most restrictions came about when i managed to make myself an administrator on the school in yr 7 (my bad ;) )

They thought they were cleaver getting rid of command prompt from the start menu, but i simply created a .bat with cmd.com inside it and it allowed me to start command line, and from there I made myself admin and yeah.. well.. they turned all chinese government on us since then :/
