How do I install nVidia drivers in Ubuntu 12.10? :S
Re: nVdia & Ubuntu
You don't have to they are part of the kernel. you can grab them from the nvidia site though http://www.nvidia.co.uk/Download/index.aspx select Linux 64-bit
Re: nVdia & Ubuntu
Jacek, Ubuntu should pay you...
I'm pretty sure everyone uses Ubuntu because you do

Re: nVdia & Ubuntu
Helx you are wrong xD and i'm gonna tell you why xD
I know and use Ubuntu since version 10 but its was like a 1h or 2 per time, and it was only now and then, I only know this forum for like a couple of months xD, ah and I forgot to say that it was only Live CD
I'm using it in a virtual machine.
The reson i'm going deeper into Linux is because I want to try alternatives and i really don't like, almost hate, what Micro$ft is doing with its OS. I know that that is easier to navigate and stuff but for the people who still owns a laptop or a desktop, without a touch scren is not that nice. So I guess i'm gonna stick with Win7 and maybe go from a VM to actually install Linux (maybe Ubuntu or Mint (widely known and easier to use distros)) as a second OS.
