Not sure where to put this actually
Anyway, you could, if you wanted more traffic here, refer to this forum in the end of your videos. Like " If you need help with this tutorial, check out the forums at betterphp.co.uk "...
Just a tip

Re: Advertising for this forum in your tutorials.
Absolutely not happening !
Just like banner ads and when people say "don't forget to comment, rate and subscribe"
"Please go on my website" is needy and a pain to have to sit through before the content begins.
On the plus side this means betterphp.co.uk will never have any adverts on it

I think you should use google ads, but for guests only? (If logged in, you dont see them) sort of thing.
It will help finance the forums

If I ever try to make money from this it will be by selling some kind of product, not by making people look at adverts. the devalue the site in my opinion and its not necessary as the codecanyon sales currently cover the server costs easily.bowersbros wrote:I think you should use google ads, but for guests only? I can understand why you wouldn't want adverts on the forums/site, but I don't understand why you don't really care much for traffic etc.

I just think he doesn't want to 'whore' himself out.
Like people saying 'Go to my site' it gets annoying and looks desperate.
People will go to your site if they like what you do, not if you force them to.

I understand that. But he said he doesn't care about subscribers and member count which has nothing to do with that...

If I make things good enough, people will use the site.
I should not have said I don't care really, more that I am not actively doing anything to get more subscribers or views.
