Hi,
I just bought a VPS from a host which offers an IPv4 address, and 10 IPv6 addresses.
They say that the IPv4 address is already installed, but if I want to be able to use the IPv6's, I have to install them.
I know that they are not already installed because if I were to navigate to the IPv4, it would show the default Apache page. If I were to navigate to one of the IPv6 addresses, it would not load.
And its not just me, because I can go on ipv6test.google.com and I would pass the tests
Any help is much appreciated.
[Ubuntu] Installing additional IPs to Apache
Re: [Ubuntu] Installing additional IPs to Apache
Try a ping of the IP and see if you get a reply, if so you need to configure Apache to listen on that IP which can be done like this http://www.fix6.net/archives/2011/02/04 ... n-apache2/
