Educational Course - Free access

I am currently in the process of producing a 'PHP from scratch' style course for the Lecture website udemy.com, and I have asked Jacek, and he has said that it is okay for me to share with you a free way to access this website, since he doesn't have any 'basics' videos, and he has reviewed and likes the quality of them. Although some of the audio is abit bad due to a hum from the fan in the background, which for some reason I cannot get to cancel with Sound Booth despite hours of trying, even with a Noise Print, it just wont go without making my voice sound robotic, which won't do.

Anyhow,

Jacek and Tino have been reviewing these videos (which are currently uncompleted); however I felt that I had enough content (around 2.5 hours or so) online currently, with more being made fairly regularly (though not for around 2 weeks from now, due to exams)

If you are interested in learning the basics in a fairly in depth way; or just to help me out (subscribe (free) and post a good review for me) which will hopefully persuade some other people to purchase it for the retail price of $29-39 (depending on what i choose at the final release) If I manage to sell enough, I will be producing similar in other languages, which I will release for free to this community also.

I would request that you please share this link with Twitter, Google+ (if you do, +Alex Bowers and circle me http://gplus.to/bowersbros would be amazing, so i know you've shared it) or Facebook. it will be incredible, and very very welcome.

In return for the work i've put into this, i do request that you please rate it and post a review after watching some of the videos.

Note: The audio quality will be improved over time, once i get the settings in Sound Booth right.

The videos are recorded in 1080p, so full screen and click HD for best results.

So, you've read this far. Sorry if it hasn't made much sense, when i'm less tired I'll most likely edit it, since this has been written on-the-fly; I can almost be sure it will skip something and return to it later. So i apologize.

Without further ado, here is the link and code, simply click the link, click purchase then enter the code at the top of the screen (I think you register after clicking, but i could be wrong)

Link: http://udemy.com/php-basics-for-beginners/

Code: BetterPHP_FREE_12

I will be making 150 codes available, if more are required. They will be produced when necessary.
Remember, please rate, review share and comment. It will be much appreciated. Feedback also would be nice :)

Thank you :)

I know, crazy ;)

RIght, DOne all the basic tutorials. Now onto the 'PHP in action' bit.

One thing though; For some reason today. Recording a video. It ended up at 30 minutes or so, at 800Mb. So i thought, thats rather large, but okay fair enough. The next video i made was 10 minutes long, but 1.2 Gb?!

Crazy things.

So upload may be slower now, because for some weird reason it only allows me to upload 1 video at a time (even with multiple tabs. They all fail, so one at a time which is tedious)

Anyhow. Yeah. The lectures are nearly done now; so i'd recommend getting the course now, since it is still free for you guys :D

The way video is compressed means that the size also depends on how much movement there is on the screen, or more technically how many times each pixel needs to change colour.

10 minutes of video game = 1GB 10 minutes of my desktop = 30 MB :)

But they all consisted of roughly the same thing. Me talking and clicking.. Pretty much :/

I'll be sure to sign up and check them out!
How long is that coupon thing up for use?
I've recently taken up a lost passion of mine so I'm usually not doing other things but that ATM

Well, It currently has no deadline, so it is until the 150 coupons run out (currently around 140 left) or until I decide to disable it; eg. i make no profit from anybody else buying it because everybody who is interested has the coupon for example.

I foresee it being available for around 2 weeks minimum.

Most likely all of february too, since in im india for a majority of it.

Fixed.

Also, If its worth noting.

If you would like to support my videos, there is two other coupons which get you a discount, and will help me keep creating content and hopefully go towards my university fee :)

To support me with $5: ULT_DISC_499D

To support me with $19: LearnPHP_50_OFF

And of course, the free one still exists for those that do not wish to / cannot pay.

Thanks, and I hope you like the videos.

Please give a review (hopefully positive :P )

Okay, it's time for me to start planning my next course.

I will provide 80% off for you guys to the next course (minimum, maybe 100% off if I change my mind at a later date)

But I need your help

What should I teach next?

HTML 5 and CSS 3
Javascript
Objective-C (iOS development)
Java
Python

Which one?

Or something else, it's your choice :)
