Just out of curiosity, how many submissions have you had so far?

I think you mentioned you couldn't choose between two or three, but of the how many entrants is that?

Last time I checked was 6 in total.

I'm pretty pleased with the number, I expected about half of the people that commented on the video saying they would, actually would bother so its looking like that is going to be about right.

Enough for it not to be a pointless exercise anyway, defiantly will be more in the future.

I really enjoyed the challenge. It's not something you do every day, which made it interesting and useful. Let's see what you come up with next time.

The idea was to get you to think a bit, and to go on php.net

The actual function is a bit useless really, as you will never really need that much info at one time.

This is what I mean when I say that the most pointless things are often the most fun / interesting to make.

Well it's not a really easy challenge (like the phpacademy one), but I don't think it's too hard.

Of course, if you're still a beginner and have never or rarely worked with file-related functionality, I guess it could be a bit daunting. But really, just give it a shot! It can never hurt, and will only help you learn new things.
