I also can't get the video on my channel page to not autoplay, which is rather irritating !

As in you cant find the checkbox to change that or that its not working regardless of the checkbox?
Because the checkbox is available, when you go to your profile, then click on Video's and Playlists. From there just uncheck autoplay featured video. It works for me

It is not checked now but for me anyway it still plays.
