Hay,
I have a question, I have two different domain names, one is a .net and the other one is a .co.uk.
I was wondering which one of those would rank better in the search engines, I don't want to change because of the .net being older and fully indexed into Google and I am afraid that the change will ruin my status.
though the co.uk looks better.... Please help me out here.
Edit:
I can notify the change though Google's Webmaster tools and use a 301 redirect.
Maybe I'll start redirecting the news messages to the new domain and gradually redirect everything.
Regards,
Sevv
What TLD should I use
Re: What TLD should I use
Google doesn't rank differently based on TLD's.
The best approach would be to think about what's more memorable.
I would recommend .net because it's shorter, and doesn't make the website seem like it's built for people in the UK (unless that's what you want).
