The subscribe to thread button is not very obvious. Could it be place somewhere above the OP or somewhere more noticeable? I would like to get email notifications on most of my topics here but I always forget where it is (I figure it out eventually).

There's no need for a more obvious button (well, it's disputable).
You can automatically receive notifications from the threads you make by going into your user control panel.

Go to:
User Control Panel > Board Preferences > Edit posting Defaults > Notify me upon replies by default

It looks like this:


And that should let you know when you have replies

It's not really something I can change easily. I will make a note of this for the new forum design though.
