I'm considering adding a developer to my team. I've been in the process of building a web application that helps entrepreneurs and investors connect with each other. Even the founder of this forum has written some of the code. The application is near completion but I was wondering if anyone would want to help complete the project, scan the code, write a little JS and Ajax and potentially even build out new features that's I've been wanting to add but just simply don't have the development time to work through. If you're interested in the project send me a PM. Let me know your skill level, how old you are and of course where you are from. In advanced notice, no compensation will be provided. I'm just looking for people that are amazing hackers and like to build cool apps.

When you say some... you mean set up the server for you and wrote the code for the majority of the major features.

I also hope that does not apply to me ;)

Also I will have more time than I know what to do with after 3rd June.

Yes, you definitely put together a lot of the major features thus far and these are certainly some of the most important features of the site. I give you full credit for putting those together on the back-end and appreciate all of your help. Although, in all honesty, and I may be wrong about this, the news feed is the biggest feature of the entire site which I was able to put together (still not done as privacy features are being added in now). If you haven't checked the code out in a while I encourage you too, but more importantly examine all of the features that have been added with your absence. The number of tables in the database have almost doubled along with the amount of code written, even if it is a bit sloppy :)

No compensation just means no initial compensation. No hourly wages, no salary... none of that stuff. Of course if things work out, money would be distributed upon my judgement.

Something tells me you get distracted by more personal projects which I completely understand. Who wouldn't want to work on their own stuff! That's what I spend all of my time on :) So as much as I miss having you tear apart my code, I understand if you are just simply too busy with your own life.

My goal is to put together the best team that I can and get as much accomplished in the shortest time frame that I can. Maybe I'm a little too American in that sense.

Most important, don't think this post was a stab at you. I really am looking to get the best team together so if any of the talented people on this forum have any interest, I'm always willing to hear you out. My forte is not writing the code even though I have gotten a lot better. I'm much better at thinking of new ideas, features and thinking though the implementation process.
