What's Good About Being a YouTube Partner ?

Title says it all, what are the benefits other than making money from advertising ?
The website is a bit vague
Is it something I should be aiming to do at some point ?

As far as I can tell, some of them can do live streams, which is something I wanted to try and do at some point. And you can have a channel header image, which would look better.

More views. Partnered channels often get featured on various pages on youtube.
And also money.

That seems odd, you need loads of views to apply, but being one gets you loads of views

Giant companies don't always make much sense...
But being partner is really just a boost to get even bigger, and making money.

Indeed. But youtube makes more money promoting RWJ than promoting you. And it's all about the big $$$...

Animation is okay, but nothing that demands too much attention.
