You are SO lucky! I just found the 1.7.3 vanilla jar in a flash drive laying around.

You are not allowed to distribute the minecraft.jar file. It says so on the games main screen

I'm pretty sure you're allowed to give away the minecraft.jar file since it's on the forum.
