Hi,
ive been spending a long time on this pice of software that i created,
In the past i created versions 1~4 totally free, version 5 free but with NON forced donating option
Now with a new better version (V6) coming up i want something back from it
So my question is: how to determine price for PHP software?

Well, how complicated is it?
How much do YOU think it's worth?
If you look at similar products for sale, how much do they cost?
You won't be able to sell something you've learnt off Youtube for $100. You might be able to sell it for $1 though. It all depends on the quality and complexity of the program you're selling and how much similar products usually cost.

Its a backend program that manages a private server, with some complex mssql queries
Edit / Delete / ... characters, accounts, guilds, .... etc etc too many to name
The last one (V5) had the following statistics
Ive spend countless hours creating every part of it out of thin air
and see how others are selling it, is a problem, cuz my software is the only one out there
there is no competition from other software developers
I cant really sell it for allot cuz its a small community, but i want to sell it to as many ppl as possible,
Overpriced software will scare ppl off and even worse, piracy ... overpriced software is a bigger target for piracy then cheap software
So i was thinking around 5 - 20 $ / €

Well the price sounds reasonable to me. I guess you will just have to try is and see how sales go.

I'd agree with Jacek, the pricerange seems reasonable but it's hard to determine without comparing to similar programs. I guess you'll just have to change the price until you find the sweetspot.

That is WAY too much, if i was a user that was looking for that kind of software... i would buy itactual price is 160$ for last version (inc. 6 months access to updates and support)
