What is your favorite text editor?
I use Espresso and it works out pretty well, but it's still not perfect. I also use Coda and Notepad++ a lot, but I still haven't found that perfect text editor. What do you guys use?

e-text editor and NetBeans. Depends heavily on what I'm working on.
Please check out my CodeCanyon items.

I use Notepad++.
But it's getting boring and simple, now I'm looking for something heavy and complex!

As a general fast fix editor I use Notepad++, for project I use PHPStorm. I still like NetBeans, but PHPStorm is just faster and also developed faster.
Re: What is your favorite text editor?
I use Komodo Edit. Or TextEdit if I just want a quick look a code or something.
I intend on looking into netbeans…

I hope you like it. If you find strange behaviour, or have future requests, the developers seem to listen pretty good to requests. And no, I'm not affiliated with them...

Why on earth would you want a pretty editor? Typical fanboytalk, looks over form...unemployment wrote:Surely that editor couldn't possibly look better than coda or espressolibeco wrote:I hope you like it. Re: What is your favorite text editor?
The way it looks is pretty much bottom on the list of priorities for me As long as it has good syntax highlighting and can have a dark background, all is goodunemployment wrote:Surely that editor couldn't possibly look better than coda or espresso

That's why I just switched... I've used Notepad++ but got bored of the looks of it. But it's still good. And I'm NOT a fanboy....libeco wrote: Why on earth would you want a pretty editor? Typical fanboytalk, looks over form...
