4 years of studying HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and SQL (well, I started 4 years ago, and over time I started learning other languages) has brought me back to the beginning. In school I get to start all over again.
My high school (I'm a freshman for ye who have lost count) offers to web design courses, 1 and 2. I'd have liked to take WDII, because… y'know, I've essentially passed the first course in my own studies. Unfortunately, you have to take WD1 first.
Then yesterday I discover that you can skip it with prior approval. Which I probably would've gotten…
The advantages of this is that part of the course consists of CSS, PhotoShop, and DreamWeaver, which I have no experience in/am awful at. And with the HTML, it's an easy A for me!
Though I had my first class today, and I'm just sitting there thinking I know what he means, but if I didn't, I'd have no clue what he means.
Anyways, just felt like sharing that. Something I actually planned on doing at the beginning of the year, but didn't want to do until the new semester (when I got the class) started.
Happy living, all!
In school I finally get to take Web Design… 1
