Long videos are nice since it saves me from going back to your channel to view the next part, but I love the sudden breaks you take, you always crack a comment or something that makes me laugh. And several videos = more views for you = more subscribers = bigger channel = bigger forums. So its entirely up to you, really.
Save your viewers 5 seconds of their lives OR have the ability to take breaks + get more traffic.

You could make the parts a little bit longer, I don't mind a 20 minute video but 30+ minutes is to long for me.
20 minute I would say max, it will save you from getting mind lock, when your gettin tired of speaking and talking at the same time. You figure, it would probly take you 5 min to write a code no vid.Now you have to type, speak, look ahead/think ahead,track time and edit's if errors or you wanted to update a line of code or 2.

for my part videos are ok, becouse, it gives my time to think about what a am doing and to test the script echo out thing, studi a bit, then when i fil like it a just go ahead with the secound part, and sone, but then again if you make a tutorial about somthin short like the pagination tutorial, i think that for the users it maite by more easy to understand this tutorials if thei are in one pice!

i now, i do that, i stop the video and test out what i got so far, and when i dont understand somthing, i just go back on the video (50 times) til a getit

It has to be! Must have taken days to upload, and no woman would keep her computer running for more than a day straight, so she must have done it on her boyfriends/husbands computer.
Must have been a stress to the computer to actually compile that video. Poor computer
