Re: Building an active forum
Well, for a forum to be active it needs members with a passion for whatever the forum is about. To find members you need to be either 1) already popular in those circuits or 2) have an idea about how to get popular. What you need is an idea basically, or endurance. If you keep bringing quality conte...

Re: Chrome Maze
It is a very easy-to-play game. I don't think this was created to wow any hardcore puzzle gamers but rather show a proof-of-concept. And I think it worked out very well

Chrome Maze
Has anyone tried this new game yet?
http://chrome.com/maze/
It takes a website of your choosing and turns it into a 3D maze.
It's not the best game, or the most entertaining, but the idea of it is really cool
( I've only tried using this site so far, and it worked very well. )

It would have to be Netbeans. Though I mostly just end up using either Sublime or NP++.

I recommend HD 5850. They are cheap and relatively powerful.

Re: Convert array to string
Wouldn't that just be encrypting?
I guess there are plenty of functions for that, and millions of ways to do it.

Re: Private messageing mysql isnt working?
I don't think I understand your answer... I think you've missed a comma on the first line. [syntax=sql] MAX(`conversation_messages`.`message_date`) AS `conversation_last_reply`, MAX(`conversation_messages`.`message_date`) > `conversations_members`.`conversation_last_view` AS `conversation_unread`[/s...

Re: grabbing variable...from inside a string
There are better ways of doing this.
I'm guessing you could use regex to do this too, but my belief is that regex syntax is the devil, so I haven't bothered learning it.

Re: Cryptocurrencies
I don't think you will have much success with a blank FPGA board. It requires some pretty advanced programming skills to make it run miners and whatnot.
If you manage to find working Mining boards for decent prices, please pm me or post here

That seems to be a hobby project gone south I'm afraid. Apparently he lost interest in it.
Not much I can do to help. I have very little experience programming microprocessors.

Re: grabbing variable...from inside a string
So what you want is the actual video id? if so, here's my solution: [syntax=php]<?php $var = "http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ccT8C2wSC6Y"; $array = explode("?",$var); $var2 = substr($array[1], 2); echo $var2;[/syntax] /Edit; This will obviously only work if the input string alway...

Re: Cryptocurrencies
Like I said, Bitcoin farming is not worth it unless you have ASIC's ( Application Specific Integrated Circuits ) or several miners. I'm mining Litecoins ( currently 3 times more profitable than Bitcoins ) on Notroll pool. Will be starting my own multi-currency pool soon-ish. It will have support for...
