Introductions

Post by bowersbros »

Hey, is there a way to get rid of the introductions new topic icon showing up? I have a form of OCD where everything has to be the same, so i always read all topics, but without being offensive. I just cba reading any of the topics about where people live and how they are inspired by Jacek etc, so is there a way i can get it so that the colour doesnt go red so it looks uniform with the rest of the forum for me? :) (preferably without me having to go to mark as read every few hours)
I don't like to brag, but I wasn't circumcised. I was circumnavigated. ;)

Nope.

You'll just have to mark it as read.

You highlighted a very key problem with having an introductions section there, long term members get bored about how people are new at php and are hoping to get better. However, it is nice for new members to be able to say hello.

just mark it as read or adblock ;)

That would be the only option I think.

But within phpBB, there's no way.

Who doesn't like a good introduction?!
They are all so new and creative and interesting and inspiring and thought provoking and well thought out and different than others and not repetitive at all and new and exciting and not repetitive at all..

That was a wait as in 'wait... no'.

Why? Because you have to mark them as read or use Adblock?
